My friend Shane, former political science major, once avid Air America listener, fan of Henry Rollins spoken word and a person who wants to transform the world for the better and pushes for that passionately on multiple fronts every day. Simply put, he was my inspiration for this design. One day he was talking about listening to Janeane Garofalo on Al Franken’s show and mentioned she had a tattoo that said “Liberal”. That got me thinking. I sketched up this shirt. I still have no idea what Janeane Garofalo’s tattoo looks like but I like the shirt design.
